About Indictra
Case software built on New York law.
Criminal practice runs on deadlines that start from specific events, paperwork the court has to accept, and discovery that arrives in pieces. The rules behind all of it are New York's own. Software that guesses at them, or hides how it got to an answer, isn't something an attorney can rely on.
So we start from the official statute text, build each toolbox for New York practice (and each prosecutor's toolbox for its own office), and show the work: which rule, which trigger, which version, and the arithmetic. Where the software can't be sure, it says so and asks the attorney.
We also think case files belong with the attorney. Our toolboxes run on the attorney's own Windows computer. We sell software and updates; we never hold your cases.
What we hold to
The attorney decides
The software drafts and calculates. People confirm, sign and serve.
Official sources
Statutes from official text, court forms from the courts, each with its date.
No case data
Not on our servers, not in telemetry, not in support tickets.
Plain controls
Labeled buttons, readable text, and status shown in words, not only color.
